Darin getting all Artsy at Bridal Veil Falls
So like I mentioned in another post... Most everyone went to Bridal Veil Falls one of the days we were camping. I had to stay behind with Spencer, Micah and the dogs. So I asked Darin to take the camera so I could see the kids there. When I got home I noticed that Darin was getting all sorts of Artistic on me with his mad camera skills! Here are a few of my favorite.

Micah Ray Lundberg
Back in September of 2011 I found out that we were expecting baby #4. We were all very excited. Baby was due June 19, 2012. When I was 17 weeks pregnant we found out that baby was going to be a boy. Savannah was a little upset at first (and still secretly is) because she really wanted a little sister. But once I moved Spencer into her room (her room is the biggest so Spencer and Micah will share) and her into her new room she soon realized that she is happy for another baby brother so she won't have to share her things. June 11, 2012 I was told that I would be induced (as usual!) on June 20th.
We were instructed to not eat anything in the morning and to call the hospital around 7 in the morning to find out if we could go in. But of course the night before they were full of women who went into labor naturally. So they didn't know when I was going to get in but instructed me to still not eat anything. Noon came and went and I was so hungry and just had a feeling I wasn't going to get in. So I told myself if the hospital hasn't called by 2 I was going to eat something. 2 came so I made my self a sandwich. Right as I was about to take a bite the hospital called and told me they were ready for me to come in as long as I hadn't eaten anything!!! The induction went well and labor was easy but long like all the others. At 9:50 Micah Ray was born. He was 9 lbs 3 oz and 21 inches. BIG BOY :)
Micah is a very content happy boy. He started sucking on a binky right away. My other babies either didn't take one at all or took a few months before they liked it. He came out with some hair, but not as much as his older brother Spencer had. Micah has 2 cute little dimples on his cheeks like Spencer though.
We stayed in the hospital for 2 days. Darin's mom and cousin watched our other 3 kids while we were in the hospital. Sadly they all 3 got really sick which made me feel so bad that Mom and Courtney had to deal with them. But they managed all the sick kids just fine.

Are we still alive?
So.. it has been a long time. I just haven't had the desire to keep this updated, don't know why. But today I feel like I want to try again. So here I am thinking if I should make a short post for all the pictures we have or to just start from today and forget about all the fun pictures and stories of the past 1 1/2 years. Maybe just pictures for this year, for get about all of last year..
I will tell you a little summary of what happened last year. Then start post from the summer time of this year.
Darin pretty much nothing changed. He is still working at Namify but he has moved into a different position. He loves to update his blog ( http://findingthewrongwords.blogspot.com/ ) which is always a good/fun read!
Elisabeth lost around 70 lbs and kept it off until she got pregnant in Sept of 2011. She is now trying to lose the last 20 lbs she gained back while pregnant, but it has only been 2 months since Micah was born.
Tanner is now 10 and just started 5th grade. He is growing taller every day and now has the same shoe size as his mom. Elisabeth has big feet for a girl. We are guessing that with in a year or 2 he will be taller then Elisabeth. For sure Grandma Paulsen with in a year! Tanner has 2 rats, Skitty and Skatt. He loves playing on the computer, wii, or his ds. His baseball team made it to the playoffs this year but sadly didn't make it past the first round.
Savannah is now 7 and just started 2nd grade. She is in Spanish classes still and knows a lot more then me. She understands a lot more then she can speak, but she is getting it. She is still mistaken for someone much older then she is. I was just asked the other day how far apart Tanner and Savannah were because the person asking thought that they were really close in age, like 10 months apart! No No No! She is 3 years younger then Tanner just super tall for her age :) The person who asked said "so how is it having 2 kids less then a year apart in age?" I then said "what?? what do you mean? Most of my kids are at least 3 years apart from one another". She loves to be outside playing with her friends or with her Littlest Pet Shops.
Spencer is now 3. He could of started preschool this year but I didn't think he was ready. He is a very independent child and hard for Darin and I to understand some times. We love him to pieces though and he makes us laugh on a daily basis. He was potty trained (except at night), moved into a big boy bed and a new room back in January 2011. He also stopped using a binkie in Feb 2011. He talks a lot now. He loves his baby brother and is very helpful and protective of him.

Ornament Exchange
For those of you who don't already know, every year for the past 9 years now, my mom has an Ornaments Exchange party with my sisters, Grandma and some times cousins. A long time ago a few ladies in my ward started this. It got so big and changed so many times that my mom stopped going and decided to do it with her girls instead. We were all excited because for many years we have all helped her make her decorations for the Sisters in our ward. So 9 years ago we had our first one as a family. I have gotten so many cute and fun ornaments over the years. My sisters and mom always make such cute things. Some of my favorites over the years have been.....
- Gold beaded glass ball that Jocie made
- Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell, rock that Rebecca made
- Blue snowflake chime Emily made
- Personalized wreath Mom made for each of us
- Hand made snowman that Deloris our cousin made
- Painted Santa spoon Mariann made
- Beaded Star TaNiesha made
- Bird house Lea made
- Glass heart painted on the inside that I made
This year was no different, a lot of cute and fun ornaments that I will cherish forever!
- Grandma Watkins made a decoration with a Glass Basket, bird and trimmings in it
- Mom made many different ornaments but we got to choose 3, these ornaments were from a wreath she made many years ago
- Lea made a cute Sparkly Christmas tree decoration
- Rebecca made a One Horse Soap and Sleigh
- MariAnn made a cute crocheted Snowman glove
- I made Snowflakes, which Tanner made for me last year in his 2nd grade class
- Emily made a hanging decoration that says Joy
Thank you everyone for the fun memories and priceless decorations/ornaments that I get each year!
9 Years Old
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Tanner celebrated his 9th birthday on Saturday. This year we decided to throw a birthday party for him, since we have managed to get away with it in years past with just a family/cousin party! He wanted to do a Pokemon theme... shocking it wasn't a Transformer theme. So we tried our best. We gave each of the kids 2 Pokemon cards and they were thrilled. We also played "Pin The Tail On Pikachu" (ohh I so wanted to type "Pekah-chu"). Darin did a good job drawing it on a paper and I colored it in. 10 of the 14 kids we invited showed up and they had a blast. We sent them on a scavenger hunt and fed them pizza. Tanner was so happy to share his birthday with some of his friends.
We can't believe we have a 9 year old! Time flies by too quickly. On Saturday Tanner came in to wake us up. I told him to quit growing that he has to stay 8 years old forever. He said he couldn't do that because next year he was gonna be 2 digits and he has to get to 2 digits! So cute :) We have enjoyed having him in our family. He is so sweet, thoughtful such a good kid! We love you, Tanner!
